Right after the conference, on June 11 2009, Aalborg University is hosting three conference-related events - Attendence is for free for conference participants:

1. Master Class  "Design for Sustainability" Target audience: professional designers and product developpers

To get to Fibigerstræde from the city. take bus number 2 right in front the train station and get out at the small lake on campus. From there it is 100 m direction North.

Each PhD colloquium will be chaired by 2-3 international leading experts. The idea is to allow each PhD student 45-50 minutes to present and discuss key aspects of their research to a selected and qualified audience and peers. Two opponents will have read and will comment during the discussion. The whole setting will be quite informal and allow close interaction and good networking. Each colloquium participant also gets a personalized recommended route through the conference tracks to allow maximum inputs, learning and networking.

Each colloquium will be limited to maximum 15 PhD fellows and a few experts. Accommodation

For participants of the PhD colloquia and Master class we have reserved a large (but not unlimited) number of rooms for a special price at the Zleep Hotel Aalborg. The rooms will be available on a first come first serve basis. The rooms are reserved from June 10 to June 12.
A limited number of rooms have also been reserved from June 8 to June 10 for the participants of the PhD colloquia and Master Class.
